Starting the year right, we were privileged to have Gan Siow Huang, Minister of State for Education and Manpower, and Member of Parliament for Marymount SMC, with us yesterday for our latest edition of Coffee Chats!
The hour-long session started with MOS Gan patiently addressing some of our participants’ challenges, such as their university experiences, and their search for jobs amid the ongoing pandemic. Following which, the mood became lighter as she enthusiastically discussed about her wealth of experience in the Republic of Singapore Air Force and her accomplishments as the first female general in Singapore. Finally, she also did not hesitate to share her personal stories about adapting to politics not long after leaving the force.
A big thank you to MOS Gan for speaking to us yesterday despite her busy schedules! Our participants have indeed learnt a lot from her insightful sharing. We have more events lined up for you this year, so stay tuned!
