Yesterday, we were honoured to have our founding president Benjamin Wong, host a mini networking workshop with our members. Benjamin is the Co-founder & CEO of Kinobi, a digital mentoring platform currently operating across 5 countries in Asia.
The session started with Benjamin enthusiastically sharing about how one should network with others and to sell themselves. He stressed the importance of having the mindset to find our story, explore our values, passion and vision. This mindset would later translate to us gaining more confidence in what we have to offer, enabling us to better network with others. He also shared about his personal experience on likability and enhancing it through the FORD framework by finding common ground with others in order to engage and learn more about them. Lastly, he helped relieve the fears of some of our participants who were afraid and unsure of how to network at TMC’s upcoming networking event Odyssey.
