Over the last two weeks, TMC organised two small educational sessions aimed to help improve the skillsets of our members and their friends.
This is the first installation of TMC Academy and we’re grateful for the turnout at each session. The first session was a workshop to improve interview skills and resume writing. Our mentors were the instructors for this workshop and with the help of their vast experiences, they were able to impart candid advice on how to ace an interview. Our mentors present that day were Lee Jia Lin, Lok Yan Han, Pranav Sharma, Sean Lee, and Yong Ying Xin.

Our second session was very popular amongst our members. It was a workshop teaching Microsoft Excel hacks, facilitated by one of our mentors – George Yeoh. George shared many helpful shortcuts that are commonly used for school projects and even in the workplace.
We hope that many of our members learnt much from the two sessions and will remember the tips and tricks for the future! Thank you to all the mentors and mentees who supported this run and big pat on the back for one of our Events director, Shawn Lee for planning and executing. We will definitely run more of these workshop sessions in the later half of the year, so keep a lookout!
