Last Friday, we went down to Unilever for a company visit! Mentors and mentees interested in the functions of this FMCG (Fast-moving Consumer Goods) company signed up and were all eager to hear from the Unilever professionals.
We were privileged to hear from these four speakers who shared candidly about what working in their functions at Unilever was like:
- Dinesh Ramchandani [Senior Global Consumer and Market Insights Manager]
- Cheong Wei-Jia [Global Skin Care Supply Chain]
- Asfia Mahin [Procurement Finance Manager]
- Jaideep Doshi [Global Digital Brand Manager – Pond’s]
It was truly eye-opening to listen to their sharing, being able to gain insights from their experiences. We also had the chance to talk to the speakers in smaller groups too! It was inspiring to meet such amazing people!
After the sharing session, we were taken on an office tour and got to see the different offices, working spaces and Level 3 – a space for entrepreneurs and startups. We even got to drink coffee and eat Ben & Jerry’s ice cream! Yay!
This was one good company visit and we want to thank Ellyn Ng (Employer Branding Lead) for helping us organise it!
